Women's Odyssey is a licensed and certified Residential Treatment Program, with strong 12-step orientation, in which every woman can acquire the skills to overcome her addiction(s) and develop a productive, sober way of live, that fulfills her potential.

The Women's Odyssey is a complete Treatment Facility, in a home like setting, that offers structer in a supportive atmosphere in which women can aquire the neccessary steps to overcome addiction.

The House was founded on the notion that women are not disabled, but have made poor choices and need to make better choices to overcome their addiction.  The foundation of treatment stems on three principals, accountability, responsibility and bahaviors.  After a very brief period of time the women are required to secure employment, do volunteer work or go back to school on their way to becoming self supporting.

In the past 33 years, as many as 50 women a year enter the doors of Odyssey, some staying for only a short period of time, others completeing the program.  Many going on to be reunited with their children and families in a life of sobriety and as contributers to their community.

Women's Odyssey was founded as a non-profit 501(c) (3) tax exempt corporation in 1974. All donations are tax deductable. Our Federal Tax ID Number (EIN#) is 95- 2916574.

 

 


House Admission

  • In-person interview

  • Acknowledge the primary problem of substance abuse

  • 72 hours of continuous sobriety

  • Be employed or employable

  • Have a sincere desire to maintain sobriety, participate in her own recovery and join in house activities

The Women's Odyssey Organization is in compliance with the Courts, Parole & Probation along with Department of Children & Family Services.
